Cheesecake Sweetroll Danish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375*
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with 2 tbsp of melted butter
  3. Separate the rolls and place them in the baking dish
  4. Lightly cut an ‘X’ into the center of the top of each roll
  5. Use a wooden spoon to push into the ‘X’ to open the roll slightly, but do not push to the bottom
  6. In a small dish combine the ½ cup melted butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon
  7. Stir until the mix is smooth and combined
  8. In a small mixing bowl beat the Cream Cheese until it is smooth, add in the egg and the granulated sugar and beat together
  9. Transfer the cream cheese mix to a piping bag or a Ziploc bag and snip the corner
  10. Carefully stick the bag in the hole and begin piping the cream cheese mix in, slowly lifting out of the hole as you fill
  11. Bake the rolls for 12 to 15 minutes
  12. Remove from the oven and serve warm!
