Cream of Mushroom Chicken Breasts

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  2. Add 2 tbsp Olive Oil to a skillet and place the chicken breasts in the skillet
  3. Cook on medium-high heat until the chicken is cooked thoroughly
  4. Remove the chicken and set on the side
  5. Put the green onions and the mushrooms into the skillet along with the remainder of the Olive Oil
  6. Saute until softened
  7. Lower the heat to medium
  8. Stir in the cornstarch and stir until smooth
  9. Whisk in the cooking wine and cook for a few minutes
  10. Slowly add the reduced-fat milk, simmering until it thickens
  11. To serve, pour the sauce over the chicken and garnish with parsley
