Dutch Apple Bread

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350*
  2. Spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and the sugar
  4. Add in the milk, eggs, and vanilla and mix thoroughly
  5. Mix in the baking powder, salt and flour
  6. Do not over-mix
  7. Fold in the nuts and the apples
  8. Spread the batter into the loaf pan
  9. In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and combine with a fork until it forms pea size crumbles
  10. Sprinkle over the batter in the loaf pan
  11. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  12. Let the bread cool, then remove from the loaf pan
  13. When cool, whisk the glaze ingredients together in a small bowl
  14. Drizzle over the top of the cooled bread
  15. Slice and serve!
