Mexican lasagna taco

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine red onions, green onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, and salt to taste. sit aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the meat, dumping off the grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and stir.
  4. In a medium saucepan, boil the heavy cream and butter, stirring, until thickened.
  5. Removing from heat and adding 2 cups of cheese.
  6. Adding Cajun seasoning and keeping warm.
  7. In a 9″ x 13″ casserole, layer 4 tortillas (cut to fit in the bottom of casserole), ground beef, cheese, and tomato mixture.
  8. Repeat up to 3 layers with cheese sauce on top.
  9. Add another cup of cheese on top of a whole casserole.
  10. Place in a covered 400° oven for 20 minutes, then remove and let cool. Each serving is garnished with sour cream and green onions.
