These peanut butter balls are my favourite party treat! Made with four ingredients (unsalted butter, creamy peanut butter, chocolate bark, and powdered sugar), this sweet treat sure runs out fast! Beware though because these delicious peanut butter balls are so addicting, you’ll never stop eating them until you have none left! These are also incredibly easy to whip up, you can even ask the kids to help out.
If you love no-bake dessert, this is one to try! I have made a huge batch of these during the Holiday and throw them into cute jars for giveaways.
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter – softened
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter – avoid the natural peanut butter with oils
- 16 ounces chocolate bark
- 2 c. powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Combine the peanut butter and butter in a medium-sized bowl until creamy. Gradually stir in the powdered sugar and continue mixing until well incorporated.
- Tent the peanut butter ball and keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours.
- Once the peanut butter ball is ready, scoop about 1-inch size balls. Roll and shape them, then put them on a cookie sheet. Pop in the freezer.
- On top of a saucepan filled with water, place a heat-safe bowl. Add the chocolate bark into the bowl and heat to boil, stirring until the chocolate is thoroughly melted.
- Take the peanut butter balls out of the freezer. Stick a toothpick into one peanut butter ball and dip it into the chocolate. Then, tap your wrist a couple of times with your other hand. This will free some of the drippage.
- Onto a sheet of wax paper, drop the coated balls, and let them harden. Transfer the balls into a container once hardened and keep them in the fridge or on the counter.
