Creamy Chip Beef Over Toast

Instructions:

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet
  2. Once melted, add the flour and using a whisk whisk until all incorporated
  3. Slowly add the milk, stirring continuously with the whisk
  4. Add in the heavy cream, continue whisking
  5. Add pepper to taste
  6. Bring to a heavy simmer, stirring often to prevent burning
  7. When the sauce is as thick as you want, add in the chopped and chipped dried beef
  8. Reduce heat and continue to stir to heat the beef through
  9. Serve over toast
