French Onion Savoury Mince


  • 5.3 oz. 150g macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 diced brown onion
  • 1.1 lb. 500g beef mince
  • 2 peeled and diced carrots
  • 1 sachet 40g French onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup 60ml tomato sauce
  • 1 cup 150g frozen peas
  • 1 cup 100g grated tasty cheese


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease an oven-proof baking dish.
  2. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until it is just al dente. Drain and set aside.
