Grandma’s chocolate pie is a delicious and amazing recipe, made from cocoa, flour, egg, milk, and vanilla to give it a perfect taste.
It’s a rich chocolate custard with a flaky, slightly salty crust and a springy meringue on top. It’s the cherry on top for me, and it’s always welcome and fitting, whether the times are good or bad.
It has always been my favorite dessert, and I can’t recall a time when it wasn’t. My family has always enjoyed pies, but we are divided into three groups: apricot lovers, nut lovers, and those of us who prefer chocolate. My mother prefers chocolate, which is presumably why it’s also my favorite. That, however, explains why only my grandmother can prepare this chocolate pie recipe. I went to visit my grandmother last year, I was not surprised at how she prepared this recipe with style and elegant, she was so passionate about making it, it tastes so perfect like that was my first time eating that recipe, brought back good memories of how I am my brothers fight for the last part of this chocolate pie.
This recipe kept being my favorite to date. I never found a reason not to like it. Even after I got married, I still do persuade her to make this delicious recipe for me. Most time, this recipe is always the menu I pick as my grandmother’s guest and I do not regret it. But this time, I was careful and intentional about this recipe, so I wrote the process she used in making this recipe and this is what I am about to show you. Grab an apron, get ingredients, and you are good to go.
