Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 5 potatoes, white or Yukon Gold
  • 5 pork chops
  • 1 onion sliced or diced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 3 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional:

  • I add chives or green onions, a sprinkle of seasoning salt, and a pinch of garlic salt to boost the bland flavor

Instructions:

  1. Peel and slice the potatoes, no more than ¼ inch each slice
  2. Peel and quarter the onion, split each quarter in half
  3. Use a block of Cheddar Cheese, shred it freshly
  4. Preheat the oven to 350*
