Vanilla Buttermilk Pound Cake With Cream Cheese Glaze

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pan and preheat the oven
  2. Spray the 10-inch loaf pan with cooking spray and sprinkle with flour.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  4. Mixing all ingredients
  5. In a large bowl, combine the canned cake mixture, water, eggs, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.
  6. Using an electric mixer, beat ingredients at low speed for 1 min.
  7. After a minute of mixing, scrape the sides of the bowl and beat for two minutes at medium speed.
  8. Bake the cake
  9. Once the mixture is well mixed and smooth, pour it into your prepared cake pan.
  10. Baking for 35 to 40 mn.
  11. On a wire rack, let the cake cool completely.
  12. Make the icing (optional)
  13. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla & milk, or half and half.
  14. Mixing all ingredients with a whisk to well mixed.
  15. If desired, add more milk or half-half to thicken the consistency.
  16. Once the cake is completely cooled, sprinkle the top with icing.
