Famous Apple Fritter Bread

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350*
  2. In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and the brown sugar
  3. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan with a non stick spray
  4. Add the butter and sugar into a bowl and beat until smooth
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition
  6. Add in the vanilla extraction another bowl combine the flour and the baking powder and then gradually add it into the butter mixture
  7. Add the milk and mix until smooth
  8. Pour half of this batter into the prepared loaf pan
  9. Place half of the apples over the batter
  10. Sprinkle with half of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture
  11. Lightly press the apples into the batter
  12. Pour the remaining batter over the apple layer, Top with the remaining apples and brown sugar mixture
  13. Using a knife, swirl the brown sugar mixture into the apples
  14. Place into the oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, when a toothpick comes out clean, the bread is done
  15. Remove the bread from the oven, let sit for 10 minutes
  16. Turn the bread out onto a wire rack
  17. In a small bowl combine the Confectioners Sugar and the milk, be sure to remove all lumps
  18. Drizzle the glaze over the top of the Apple Fritter Bread
