ITALIAN DRUNKEN NOODLES RECIPE

Instructions:

  1. Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and allow it to become hot.
  3. Add the spice of Italian sausage and crumble it into small pieces.
  4. Cook until the color turns brown.
  5. Remove the sausage from the pot and place it in a small mixing bowl.
  6. In the same pot, add the bell peppers, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Saute for 2 minutes or until the bell peppers are soft.
  8. Add in the garlic and cook until aromatic.
  9. Add in white wine and heat until reduced.
  10. Add in the diced tomatoes, olive oil and chopped basil. Stir until well combined.
  11. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  12. Add in the cooked sausage, chopped parsley, and 1/2 of the Julienned basil. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until well blended.
  13. Remove from the heat and prepare the noodles.
  14. Refer to the directions provided on the package of the egg noodles.
  15. Drain the noodles and add them to the sauce. Mix using tongs until well combined.
  16. Spoon into a serving plate sprinkle the rest of the Julliened basil on top and drizzle with olive oil.
  17. Serve and enjoy!
